What is the difference between a BLE tracker and a GPS tracker?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

BLE trackers<\/strong> (Bluetooth Low Energy) operate with very low power consumption and do not require a SIM card<\/strong>. As a result, they achieve a very long battery life<\/g>, but are generally not rechargeable<\/g>. Location points are received at longer and more irregular intervals<\/strong>, and tracking depends on the reception of other BLE-enabled devices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

GPS trackers<\/strong>, on the other hand, determine their position via satellite and transmit data (usually via the mobile network) at regular, freely adjustable intervals<\/strong>. They offer precise real-time tracking<\/strong> but require a SIM card<\/strong> and, due to higher power consumption, have a shorter battery life<\/strong> or need to be charged more frequently. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
